The Berkeley Model United Nations is an on-campus UC Berkeley club that puts on an annual Model United Nations conference in early spring of each year. With the help of 60 students that make up the Secretariat, many preparations are made for this conference throughout the academic year. BMUN is currently in its 57th session. Berkeley Model United Nations is going green! This blog is designed to document the changes our organization will be going through as we implement a variety of measures intended to reduce waste, improve our sustainability to the local environment, and educate our members and delegates of the conference about environmental issues, both local and international in scope. Hello!
My name is Jessica Napier, and I am the associate editor for Converge magazine, a national publication that provides thought-leadership and strategy to education’s decision-makers. I wanted to let you know that your blog was featured in our article “Must Reads: Higher Ed Sustainability Blogs.” (www.convergemag.com/story.php?catid=231&storyid=108593) If you could distribute this link out to your channels, that would be wonderful. Thank you for bringing more awareness to this important topic!
